Hmm, y'know, I like the idea of the symbiote generating a layer of the "suit" over sections of its usual biomass, as if that's also something it inherited from Peter on top of the powers; the whole "Peter Parker is Spider-man, Spider-man wears a suit" thought process..
Kinda like in Tokyo Ghoul, where Kaneki's kakuja spawns take on characteristics of his mask and suit.
Idk, just a random thought that occurred to me that I now wish was depicted canonically...
