I had a dream like this once
I was on my grandma's farm, in the yard, at night, and I could see this (mini?) black hole orbiting the planet, and every time it swooped past, I could feel its pull
Every time I felt that pull, I fell to the ground and grasped at as much grass as I could
But obviously that wouldn't cut it
I woke up before it pulled me into the sky

As for the inquiry in the description...? It was a planetoid full of steampunk babes.
