Yes his name is Gyro Zeppelli, a character whom many manga readers agree is one of the most well written characters not only in part 7 but throughout all of JOJO!
and haha yes, if you ask me part 3 has an annoying amount of fluff that can be difficult to sit through especially in the middle.
I will let you know that every part past that point is incredibly gratifying, and I've been waiting on the edge of my seat for a part 7 confirmation ever since the end of Stone Ocean's anime.

I always wondered why Brainiac never coveted biology such as Supes' or hell, even Lobo's, considering how weak his various bodies are typically shown to be in comparison.
You'd think he'd value the strength + regen combo of Lobo or the added bonuses that Supes' abilities would grant in conjunction with his intellect.
I mean, I suppose there were a few instances of Brainiac like, proving that Supes' mind was severely lacking the processing power + storage space that he needs to operate and thus would be a "downgrade" if he took over the body of a kryptonian; but even then, there are other ways to assimilate that genetic code that I've already thought about, and have even considered applying to my own characters.
Lobo's genetic code could probably accommodate that kind of processing power, I would imagine...

Anyway, good idea. I always enjoy seeing these kinds of ideas explored.

Those are some really great questions! The lack of processing power might be why he’s not interested in mind-jacking their bodies, but I wonder if it might be that Brainiac isn’t particularly attached to any physical body he inhabits. He’s an artificial intelligence who can just build himself new ones to inhabit if he needs to. And with somebody like Superman, or especially Lobo, that’s a one-of-a-kind body that would probably be a massive pain to replicate—if such a thing is even possible.
That being said, I want to thank you for not only enjoying the art, but for engaging with it so much! It’s such a pleasure to see someone respond to something I created by bringing up things I hadn’t even considered.
